Jeremy and I met in college, fell in love, and have been married since 2003. Our beautiful daughter Macy was born in 2006, and she forever changed our lives.
Macy was born a preemie, with a heart defect, airway issues, and a very rare liver disease. Macy has been quite the trooper! She has been put through numerous surgeries and tests, yet continues to be a very normal little girl. We are so proud of her!
Our second child, McKenna, was born on November 30, 2009. McKenna's smiling little face brings joy to our hearts every day! She is our little athlete who is fun, sassy, and spunky.
Our girls are the best of friends, and love each other so much! We are truly blessed!

I already have a hard enough time shopping for spring and summer clothes for Macy. Halter tops, mini-skirts, and string bikinis just don't fly in our household! Now we have to worry about innocent, sweet Dora the Explorer becoming a woman at age 7. Okay, so it's not that bad, but why can't she just remain the same old Dora?
In movie news, Thelma and Louise has been modified from the original version, and is now aimed at grabbing the attention of a much younger audience. It still celebrates the myth of two carefree souls piling into a 2009 Barbie Jeep and driving out of town to have some fun. Before their journey is done, these characters will have created some exciting adventures, and will have discovered themselves. What sets this new modified version of Thelma and Louise aside from the great traditional version is that the heroes are two 3 year-old toddlers this time: preschool-attending girlfriends from small Indianapolis townships, one a blonde, the other a brunette.
So the girls hit the road for a weekend, heading to Hollywood in search of Barney the Dinosaur, Dora the Explorer, and the Wiggles. On the journey, these two leading ladies discover the trip may be too much of a journey considering they need to stop every 50 minutes for Thelma to go potty. Also, due to Thelma being a not so good driver, Louise tires easily at the wheel. Starved and tired, the duo head home to Indianapolis in hopes of returning before dinnertime. This film is packed of crazy wild adventures that only two middle-aged toddlers could experience.
This is a must see new release full of toddler tales for all ages!
Once we got that first dose of nice weather, we decided that nothing is keeping us inside anymore. It may have only been 40* this week when we were out playing golf in the yard. It may only be 50* out today, and we are still out going for walks and riding bikes......we don't care!!!!! We just love the outdoors! Check out some photos I took this past week. Yes, my child is wearing a tutu over her jeans. It reminds me of Ace Ventura. A little creepy....yet too cute!!!
So you think you can dance???? I can, Macy can......Jeremy tries! I am totally obsessed with the Fox show, So You Think You Can Dance. I am completely glued to the television when the contestants are dancing, and even find myself moving my hips, shoulders, and feet as they dance all over the screen. Unfortunately, the new season hasn't started yet :( I have been following where they are with auditions, which should be finishing up in the next few weeks. Luckily that means, the new season will be starting soon! Wooohooo!
If you didn't know, I started dancing with I was 2. I danced in 3 different dance studios, until I finally stopped dancing in middle school so that I could join cheerleading. It was either cheerleading or The Fort Wayne Ballet. I chose to cheer, which I continued until I graduated high school. I always felt I had the best of both worlds with cheerleading because I not only got to cheer and do stunts, but I also got to dance! As a matter of fact, I still remember some of my cheerleading dances....I know, crazy!!

We had the most amazing weekend! You would've thought we were living in Florida or something!!! The weather was the best we've seen since October. If you don't know our family well, we are not the indoor type of family. We love the outdoors!!!! We love the outdoors so much were up and dressed, already had breakfast, had been to the grocery store, and were knocking at the gates of the Indianapolis Zoo by 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Let me tell you, it was like a VIP treatment at the Zoo. No one was there! It was soooo nice!!! All the animals were awake, and running around. Although we saw a little more from the baboons than we intended....if you know what I mean! Gross!
We spent the rest of the day outside. We went for 2 walks, Macy drove her Barbie Jeep, and Macy and I even biked with Jeremy while he ran. We ended the weekend by having a great dinner with Mamaw, Papaw, Aunt Jessica, and soon-to-be Uncle Nate.
Please pray for a stranger we met this weekend during one of our bike rides. She came over to show Macy her horse, and when leaving to head back to her path, the horse got spooked and took off running. During the run, she was thrown from her horse. She was injured pretty badly. We had to call 911. Jeremy stayed with her, holding her horse, until the ambulance took her. All we know is that she had a broken wrist, and had a lot of pain in her back. Please pray that she recovers quickly.
1. I am currently working very hard on my manners. Mommy and Daddy say it’s not okay to say things like “I pooped” or “I fawted (farted)” in public. Who knew? 2. If I was a boy, my name would’ve been Parker or Brooks. 3. I am not afraid to get up at 1:00 a.m., head down stairs in the dark, and watch TV…..while Mommy and Daddy sleep. Yep, I did that once!!! You should've seen what my mom looked like at 1 a.m. in the morning as she stumbled down the stairs in her pj’s, eyes bugged out, her hair looking very similar to Albert Einstein’s, and screaming in panic mode! Hilarious!!! 4. My toes look exactly like my dad’s toes. 5. I have 10 battle wounds on my body from surgeries. 6. I say “sorry” way too much! 7. I have been known to watch endless black and white TV shows like The Andy Griffith Show and I Love Lucy. 8. If you can’t find me in my house, then I am probably in my toy room playing house with my baby dolls. I make a great mommy! 9. I have lots of texture issues, and I am notorious for chewing up my food and spitting it back out. You have to admit, if I was a bird, that would be cool! 10. I think if I were an animal, I would be an ant….small but mighty. 11. More than anything, I want a baby of my own….a brother or sister (a Liam or a Darcy). 12. I won’t keep covers on myself when I sleep. 13. When I was one, my grandma taught me to play with the Tupperware. You know, toss it around the kitchen, build things, etc., and I still do. Mommy and Daddy just love that I tell ya! 14. I love riding in the boat on a warm summer day. 15. I have a special ladder I use at school so I can get up on the toilet. Yes, I have short-leg syndrome. 16. I love my great grandpa’s singing fish (Billy Bass). 17. If you ask me what my favorite food is, I will tell you pizza. Although, I only nibble on my breadsticks and eat the pepperoni off of the pizza. 18. Every single afternoon when Daddy picks me up from school, I ask him the exact same question, “Mommy, Tucker, Harley at home?” 19. A few weeks after I was born, when Daddy was changing my diaper at the hospital, I shot poo about 3 feet and it hit the wall next to my bed. 20. I can push a grocery cart filled with four 40 lb bags of salt, yes…that adds up to 160 lbs. 21. I didn’t make my first sound until I was almost 17 months old. 22. My nickname is “Bean”, Papaw and Mommy call me that. 23. I don’t like eating sweets. 24. I am the biggest Daddy’s Girl you’ll ever meet. 25. My Mommy and Daddy are my heroes!P.S. Here’s a bonus: #26. Sometimes when I pee on the pod, and no one is watching, I just drip dry. What can I say....I'm a busy 3 year old.
While getting Macy ready for a bath, in our usual fashion, we pulled off her clothes in her room and let her run in her "birthday glory" to the bathroom. It is the cutest thing to see her little bottom jiggle as she runs away. As she ran tonight, I observed her size, and said to Jeremy, "she may be skinny, but she sure has a cute, chubby little bottom. In which Jeremy replied, "just like her momma." Did he just say what I think he did? Cute? Chubby? Little? Which exactly did he just mean???? Did he just say my bottom was chubby????? Needless to say, he may be "camping out" tonight....on the couch!!!! :) Anyway, I never thought I would get to the point when I would call anything on my little Macy "chubby". Chubby, chubby, chubby!!!!

It's been all over the news today, "Woman With 2 Wombs Has Twins." Two healthy, tiny girls to be exact. She is a Michigan woman who was born with a condition called uterus didelphys. This condition is not common, but even more rare are twin births in women with this conditon! I am totally facinated with weird medical conditions, so of course I looked further into this.
In addition to the Michigan woman, I found a woman in the UK with two wombs that gave birth to triplets. Strangely enough, her babies were also born 7 weeks early, just like the Michigan woman.
A womb transplant??? Yes, it has also been reported that they can now supply uteruses (wombs) for transplant as a way to treat infertility. Crazy!!!!! So far, only 1 uterine transplant has been attempted, and it was very controversial and unsuccessful.
