Who Had A Birthday???

Macy Elaine VanVleet did!!!!!! Yes, my baby is 5! Let me be honest, I had a VERY hard time with it this week. I found myself just staring at her, watching her sleep, and reminiscing about the journey this little girl has been on. I found myself, once again, realizing what a TRUE MIRACLE my Macy is!

Over the past 5 years, Macy has affected so many lives! She has changed so many people! She has also made so many realize that miracles do exist! I always say that Macy is going to do GREAT things, but there is no "going to", because she ALREADY IS! I know she will continue to touch lives for years to come!

I posted some pics of Macy's special weekend. Enjoy!

Friday night, on Macy's birthday, we took her to The Incredible Pizza Company. I ALWAYS said, Macy will never go to Chucky Cheese or a McDonald Playland (due to all the germs). Well, The Incredible Pizza Company is just along those lines, but you have to live a little :) This was the best gift we could've ever given her.....she was so excited!

Here she is on her 2nd plate of nachos :)

There were SO many games to play!

The toddler area was perfect for McKenna! She wasn't too sure about this car though. She made it one lap around the track and begged Daddy to take her out, lol!

Go Macy, whack those moles!

Everywhere we go, Macy makes a friend. 5 minutes into playing, these two decided they would be best friends...."do you want to be my best friend?" "Yeah, I do, let's go play."

Our little climber

After leaving The Incredible Pizza Company, we headed to a pie place, where Macy picked out a chocolate pie as her dessert of choice. We headed home to open presents :) Can you tell someone got what she wanted, lol! (A new game for her V Reader)

"Happy Birthday Dear Macy, Happy Birthday to you!"

We had an amazing, yet exhausting day on Saturday. After ballet, we moved light speed to get ready for Macy's BIG "Camp Rock" party.
Here she is dressed as "Mitchie" from Camp Rock :) Note how the boots go up over her knees, lol!

We started her party off with lots of dancing! Papaw started off the party with Macy by dancing on the dance floor. Then Macy talked Mamaw and Daddy into joining her.......Mamaw is the Dancing Queen, so she didn't mind.

Check out Macy's amazing cake. If you live in the Indy area, you have to get your cake from Piece of Cake. They are affordable and talented!

Make a wish!

Our family!!!

Present time! Macy was so thankful for each and every present. After opening each present, she would run to the gift giver, hug them, and tell them thank you. She is such a special little girl!

Big Mac, like always, was more interested in the empty packages :) Notice I wasted no time opening up the Barbies from Uncle Corey. I think I was just as excited about them as Macy!

Mamaw and Papaw must have known Jeremy and I were completely worn out, therefore they offered to take Macy overnight for a fun sleepover. Within 10 minutes her bags were packed and meds prepared, and they were heading out the door. Jeremy and I had McKenna asleep by 7:30 p.m., and we quietly relaxed all evening! Big thanks to Mamaw and Papaw for taking Macy, allowing Jeremy and I get some relaxation, and for making Macy's birthday weekend even more special :)
Thank for checking in on us! We love sharing our experiences with all of you that care so much about our family :)
I bet you are wondering how our weight loss challenge is going.....I'll try to get an update on Tuesday! Have a great Monday!
