Battle of the Buldge

Well, the battle of the buldge continues! Did I get more exercise last week than the week before? No!

Here is my battle.....I have two little girls at home all day, and I can't take my eyes off of McKenna. If I stick her in an exersaucer, she screams her head off. When Jeremy gets home from work, it's dinner time. After dinner it's bathtime, and after bathtime it's bedtime. While I put the girls to bed, Jeremy does his workout. By the time he is done, it's 8:30, and I am ready for bed. I know....excuses, excuses. Well, with the help of my friend Meagan, I have found a way to help my exercise dilema, and I started that this week. I will tell you more next week :)

How did last week go? Well, I had lots of cravings. I would've given anything for a plate of chocolate chip cookies. I even experimented with a low calorie chocolate chip cookie recipe on Saturday night. Jeremy called them scones. They weren't the greatest, but they were only 52 calories, and they had chocolate chips in them. I had 3, and Jeremy had A LOT!

What are my new favorite snacks this week? oranges and Smart Ones desserts. The Smart Ones are yummy cookie/icecream desserts for only 177 calories. I have been trying not to eat nighttime snacks, but once in a while has been very nice.

Jeremy and I did our weekly weigh in on Sunday. The dreaded Week 2 curse hit us! I lost 1 lbs, and Jeremy lost 1.5 lbs. The good news is, I was happy with that. Losing 1 lb a week is actually my goal :) That brings me to a total of 4.5 lbs, and Jeremy is at 5 lbs. I am still winning in the challenge because I have a higher percentage of weight loss :)

For this week, I am working on getting more exercise in, and hoping these cravings disappear!!!! Have a great week!
