Weight Loss Challenge

Did you know a new season of The Biggest Loser is starting this week? Will you be tuning in? Did you know the first season of The Weight Loss Challenge is also starting this week? Haven't heard of the show?????

Tune in each week for new episodes starring Jeremy and Kristen VanVleet! Yes, Jeremy and I have created our own weight loss challenge. We aren't drastically dieting or anything, but we are just trying to take off some of these extra winter coats we have both gained. Well, mine isn't really a winter coat, but lots of pregnancy weight. My "baby" is a year now, I am finally done nursing, and it's time to get in shape!!!!

My wonderful husband (The Spreadsheet Maniac) has developed this wonderful spreadsheet so we can chart our progress. Here is just a glimpse of what it looks like.





I will try to update weekly to let you know how we are doing with eating, exercising, and weight loss.

My weight loss goal is 13 lbs in 12 weeks. I am going to focus on portion control and no bedtime snacks (which I am notorious for). I am going to try to incorporate exercises into my everyday routines, especially because I spend a majority of my time chasing kiddos around!

Jeremy's weight loss goal is 12.5 lbs in 12 weeks. He is going to focus on portion control and calorie intake. He plans to run 4-5 times a week in the morning before work, and will be doing some additional core excercises once the girls go to bed each night.

Today was our first weigh-in.....and I am sure you would all love to hear how much we weigh, but it just isn't happening. Sorry! It wasn't pretty!!!! I weigh myself daily......I still almost cried today when I saw my weight!

Looking forward, not at my behind, lol! :).......I can do it, I can do it, I can do it!!!!
